He Holds a Doctor of Business Leadership and a Master of Business Leadership Degree from the UNISA Graduate School of Business Leadership. He holds a Master of Science and an Honours in Climatology and Geography respectively both from the University of Cape Town. He specialises in the area of organisational development, with a focus on strategic management. He has also designed and reviewed a number of government programmes,

He has successfully conducted assignments largely in the Public Sector at both national and provincial level. He has assisted a number of departments with the finalisation of their Strategic Plans and Annual Performance Plans through his association with the National Treasury.
